Robert "Bob" Frank Foote died peacefully Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, at home in Atascadero at age 82.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 14, at Chapel of the Roses, Atascadero, followed by a graveside service at Atascadero District Cemetery.

Bob was a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran (D Day), long time member of the Estrella Confederate Air Force, and member of Eureka Masonic Lodge #16, Auburn, Calif.He held a lifelong passion for airplanes.

He took on hundreds of projects restoring airplanes, and could solve just about any mechanical problem that his friends at Paso Robles Airport brought to him.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jane Kyle Foote, his parents Clarence Skipwith Foote and Bessie O. Bowman Foote, and by his brother Espey Hix Foote.

He was the father of Robert William Foote of San Luis Obispo and Dennis Foote of Lincoln, CA; brother of Clarence "Jack" Skipwith Foote of Jackson,TN; dear friend of Rosemary Netto of San Miguel; grandfather of Peter Kyle Foote of Yuba City; James Jacob Foote of Loomis and Jessica Noel Foote of San Francisco; great grandfather of Nash Foote of Yuba City; a nice Shila Brown and nephew Espey "Sonny" Foote both of Mercer, TN.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Kyle Foote, his parents, Clarence Skipwith Foote and Bessie O Bowman Foote and by his brother Espey Hix Foote.
