She came to the United States in 1913 through Ellis Island with her family at the age of seven.
She was a Farmer and Homemaker. Before moving to the farm in 1946, she worked at various packing houses in Fresno and with the USDA Raisin Inspections in figs and raisins. She spent 53 years in grape productions. She was always interested in her flower garden.
Marie and her husband, Henry Ahlenslager, had seven children; Melvin, William, June, Bernice, James, Dona and Leslie.
