Sara Freeman Barnes, 77, of 15382 Ridgeview, Northport, died April 6, 1995, at home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Williamson Cemetery in Northport.
She was a member of Northport First United Methodist Church at Northport and Southern Culture Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fletcher Barnes, Sr.
Survivors include two daughters, Ann B. Hardwick, Dayton, Ohio, and Linda Barnes, Rainier Wash.; a son, William F. Barnes Jr., Northport; and six grandchildren, William F. Barnes III, Northport, Suzanne B. Christian, Tuscaloosa, Sara Pascoe, Fredericksburg, Va., Nancy Junkin, Springfield, Va., Nancy Junkin, Springfield, Va., Chip Hardwick, Madrid, Spain and Anne Hardwick, Belleville, N.Y.
Pallbearers will be Charles Hardwick, Rockne Christian, Jack Junkin, Robert Thomas, Gary Thomas, Robert McCain and Virgil McCain.
