Reverend John Frelinghuysen (1727-1754) was a minister in New Jersey.

He was the son of Reverend Theodorus Jacobus Frelinghuysen (1691-1748).

Marriage:
John married Dinah van Berr and had the following children: Eva Frelinghuysen (1751-c1826) who married Casparus van Nostrand; and Major General Frederick Frelinghuysen (1753-1804) who was buried in Weston, New Jersey.

Old Dutch Parsonage:
John lived in the Old Dutch Parsonage in Somerville until his death where he served three congregations. He also tutored students preparing them for the seminary.

Death:
He died in Somerville, New Jersey.
