Funeral services were held in Boise, Idaho, on June 22, 1988, for 86 year old Mrs. Charles R. French who passed away at her home on June 19.
Mrs. French was the former Edith McDonald and was born in Washington County on September 30, 1901, to pioneers George and Jessie McDonald.
In 1923 she was married to Charles R. French, also of Washington County, and they lived on a farm west of Blair for many years before they retired and moved to Yuma, Arizona, and later to Boise, Idaho.
She is survived by her husband Charles, a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and LaMar Stewart of Boise, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Thelma Longacre of Schuyler, Nebraska, one brother Myron McDonald of Omaha, and nieces and nephews.
Edith was preceded in death by a daughter, Marjorie, four brothers, three sisters and her parents.
