sharing some family information her mother and brothers:

THE EVENING HERALD, SYRACUSE, N. Y., THURSDAY EVENING, FEBRUARY 12, 1891..
Mrs. Theodore French, whose reputed age was 105 years, died at No. 105 Otisco street at noon today. She had been about the house until yesterday, when she became ill. Dr. F. W. Smith was called, but could do nothing. Mrs. French died from old age. Little is known of her early life by her children, except that she was born in Providence,
R. I., and moved with her husband to Chittenango many years ago. About fifty years ago the family came to Onondaga County and have since lived in Liverpool, Belle Isle and Syracuse. Mr. French died suddenly fifteen years ago in Geddes at the age of eighty-eight years. His grandfather was a soldier in the Revolutionary war. The parents of both Mr. and Mrs. French lived to be very old. Mrs. French, though partly deaf and blind from age, always enjoyed good health. Charlotte Mahala French, Charles H. French, with whom she lived, and Sidney Henry French of Elkhorn, N.Y., are her children.
------------------------------------------
please note that Elkhorn, Onondaga County, NY was a hamlet of the Manlius and Fayetteville area and no longer exists since Post WWII.
Also that the article/ obituary/ life sketch of Mrs. Theodora French being 105 years old is incorrect. Reason is she would have been 50 years or older to give birth to her 3 children. Two census, 1860 and 1880, reveal she was born approximately 1804 and 1805, not 1786.

THE POST-STANDARD, SYRACUSE, N.Y., WEDNESDAY MORNING, JUNE 13, 1906.
Relatives of Charles H. French, or "Deafy" French, were located yesterday near Fayetteville by Undertaker W. P. Hart, and the dead man's niece, Mrs. Elizabeth Roberts, whom French had sued to recover property valued at more than $22,000 will bury him. French is also survived by a brother, Henry F. French, and four nephews, William, Daniel, James and Henry French. All residing near Fayetteville, and one sister, Mrs. Mahala Arnold of Ellenburg, Clinton county. Funeral services will be held at Hart's undertaking rooms at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, and interment made at Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

[Note: only twice in newspaper archives has the name, Henry F. French, been found. In our family history it is not known that Henry had a middle name. Also there is no such person as Sidney Henry French who fits into the time frame or geographical area in relation to mentioned French family. It is believed the newspaper published his name in error.]
