Mrs. Archer was born in Oxnard and was a resident of Patterson for 22 years. She was a homemaker, a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson, a member of the YLI (Young Ladies Institute), CWA (California Women for Agriculture) and the Patterson Garden Club. She was a volunteer as a Pink Lady at Doctors Medical Center, the Blood Bank and St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store. She drove a school bus for Rising Sun School for many years and volunteered as a Teachers Aid at the school and worked as a Postal Clerk for the Vernalis Post Office.
Mrs. Archer is survived by her sons, John (Helene) Archer and James (Margaret) Archer; daughters, Julie Gebhardt and Janice (Jack) Arizcuren; brother, Jim Friedrich; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Archer and son-in-law, Mike Gebhardt.
