A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 for 92 year old Florence Baiter of St. Elmo, IL, formerly of Chester, IL and Oran, MO who died Friday, August 1, 2014 at Aperion Care in St. Elmo, IL.
Florence was born February 20, 1922 in Perkins, MO, the daughter of William and Esther (Kelso) Friedrich. She married Irvin Baiter on February 14, 1942 in Augusta, GA and he preceded her in death on May 4, 2005.
Survivors include three children, Ronald Baiter of Sealy, TX, Edwin Baiter of Farina, IL and Janet Brandt of Portland, OR. A son in law, Terry McConkey of Chester, IL. One sister, Frieda Mansker of Oran, MO. 20 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, three brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be from 5pm to 8pm Friday, August 8, 2014 and after 7:30am Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home in Chester, IL.
