Obituary for Fred Keever Fuchs

SUMMERFIELD — Fred K. Fuchs, 76, died Sunday, June 27, 2010.

Mr. Fuchs was born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and recently moved from Naples to Summerfield. He was a retired Eastern director of sales for Honeywell-Bull; a Marine Corps veteran; member of North Lake Presbyterian Church, Lady Lake; Col. Phillip C. Delong Detachment No. 1267 Marine Corps League Inc. in The Villages; Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity; deacon at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Hartford, Conn.; and recently discovered a love for golf.

Survivors include his wife, Marian; daughter, Suzanne Ettie, Wilton, Conn.; son, David, Orange, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 1, at North Lake Presbyterian Church, with visitation prior to services 10-11:30 a.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. Interment will be in Farmington, Conn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Phillip C. Delong Detachment (children with special needs) or to The Tuscany House (Hospice). Online condolences may be left at www.hiers-baxley.com.
