AVERY TO TAKE PLACE FRIDAY Widow of Benjamin Avery Who Die in Peking China While in Government Service The funeral of Mrs. Mary Fuller Avery who died in San Diego on June 9, will take place this morning at 10:30 o'clock from Gray's undertaking parlors, Geary and Divisadero street. She was the window of Benjamin P. Avery, who died in Peking China, while in the government service. Her husband took great interest in the San Francisco Institute of Art, giving yearly the Avery gold medal. After his death Mrs. Avery presented his collection of paintings to the Institute.
