Retha was born in Big Hill, Kentucky on November 21, 1935 to the late Earl and Lydia Gabbard. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Bradley Baker, Jr.; brother, Paul Gabbard.Retha was a member of Springboro Baptist Church, she loved to cook and bake especially for her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, watching Reds games and was a huge Kentucky Wildcats fan.
Retha always saw the good in everyone, she was known for her smile and would always put others before her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Dobbins, Beverly (Mark) Colvin ; grandson, Jeromy (Tyna) Miller; three granddaughters, Melissa (Scott) Haas, Heather (Brad) Smith, Megan (Josh) Ferguson; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Wilma Padgett; brother, Earl (Jane) Gabbard, Jr.; long time family friend, Fran Reedy and numerous nieces and nephews.
