Bohler, Bernice Gabbard,

87, formerly of Louisville was born on May 30, 1929 in Bond, KY to the late Charles and Ollie (Davis) Gabbard, and passed from this life on January 7, 2017 in Brownsville, TX. She was a retired executive secretary for the B. F. Goodrich Co., a former member of Chapel Park Baptist and Shively Heights Baptist church's, and was very active in the Order of Eastern Star Southern Chapter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Bohler. Left to cherish her memory is her son and daughter in-law, Keith and (Denise Pollard) Bohler; a sister, Joyce Smith; a brother, J. B. Gabbard; and a grandson, Michael Pollard Bohler. A service to celebrate Mrs. Bohler's life will be held at 1 pm Friday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Thursday. Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
