Clemma Baker, 85, Hamilton, Ohio, died at her residence, Oct. 5, 1989.

Born March 20, 1904 in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Greenberry and Bernettia Wyatt Gabbard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Baker.

Survivors include three sons, Levi Baker, London, Robert Baker, Hamilton, Ohio, and Carl Baker, Springdale, Ohio; four daughters, Irene Abrams, Ruth Richardson and Barbara Brittain, all of Hamilton, Ohio, and Lucy Lannery, Springdale, Ohio.

Also surviving are five sisters, Lucy House, London, Maxine Robinson, Goldie Farmer, Ruth Oakes, and Media Noe, all of Hamilton, Ohio; 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8 at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with Rev's Sam Gabbard and Virgil Mullins officiating. Interment was in the Gabbard Cemetery, Jackson County.
