Mary Jean Baska, 84, of the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center, died Sunday, April 15, 2012, in the center.
A Jamestown resident since 1950, she was born Sept. 19, 1927, in Sunman, Ind., the daughter of the late Frank E. and Elizabeth Gross Galbraith.
Mary Jean was a 1945 graduate of Sunman High School. She was a member of the Thule Lodge, Marvin Community House, and the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Robert) Belu of Lorain, Ohio; and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Belu (fiance, Eric Sar-tor) of Denver, Colo.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice W. Baska, whom she married April 8, 1950, and who died Feb. 25, 2007; and her grandson, George Belu.
