Adeline G. Aragon age 74, former Tucumcari NM resident, passed away in Amarillo Texas on Monday July 7, 2014 following an extended illness.
Adelina was born at Sabinoso New Mexico May 22, 1940. She had been a member of the Catholic Church. She was retired from child care and teaching. She had been making her home in Amarillo Texas since 1992.
Surviving Adeline are her children – Rita Garcia & husband Allen and Glenda M. Galan & husband Gabriel all of Amarillo Texas, Alfonso Romero & wife Laura of Denver Colorado. Siblings – Helen Chavez, Frutoso (Sonny) Gallegos, Maria Montes, Mary Gonzales and Antonio Gallegos. She was preceded in death by her parents Frutoso and Rosa Gallegos, by her siblings Fred Aragon, Jesse L.Romero, Manuel Gutierrez, Amadeo Gutierrez, Edward Gallegos and Lucy Martinez.
Funeral Mass will be Friday morning July 11, 2014 in the St. Anne's Catholic Church beginning at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
