Amber Jean Gallegos Wheat Adams, 38, of 583 Twenty-sixth street, Ogden, formerly of Brigham City, died Friday, Dec. 19, 1986, at McKay-Dee hospital of a liver ailment.

She was born Oct. 24, 1948, in Brigham City, a daughter of Benjamin Don and Mae Maxine Cottle Gallegos.

She was married to Patrick Rodney Wheat in 1965 in Corinne. They were later divorced. She was married to Hugh Billin Adams on Dec. 31, 1976, in Ogden.

She had lived in Brigham City and in Ogden for 23 years.

She attended Box Elder High school.

She was a member of the Ogden Twenty-sixth LDS ward.

She had been a nurse's aide for Crestwood Care center.

Surviving are her husband of Ogden and two daughters, Mrs. Joe (Tammy Jean) Threlfall and Mrs. Carl (Patsy Lynn) Courtney, both of Ogden, three grandchildren.

Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Maxine Martinez, of Brigham City; a grandfather, Dewey Cottle, Harper Ward; two brothers and two sisters, Benjamin T. Gallegos, Perry; Michael M. Martinez, Brigham City; Mrs. Hank (Tina M.) Evenhuis, Ogden; Mrs. Robert (Patricia A.) Young, Honeyville.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Lindquist and Sons Colonial chapel in
Ogden with Bishop Bruce D. Bowen of the Ogden Twenty-sixth ward officiating.

Cremation was by Lindquist's crematory.
