TAUNTON — Dolores (Agrella) Gay, wife of the late Robert H. Gay, died at her Taunton home on July 23, 2011. She was 91. Born, raised, and educated in Taunton, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (DeJesus Neves) Agrella Nascimento, she was a lifelong Taunton resident. A retired supervisor, she was employed by Coppercraft Guild in the shipping and receiving department for thirty-five years. She retired in 1985. Mrs. Gay was a communicant of St. Andrew the Apostle Church, and a member of AARP Chapter 3938. She enjoyed gardening, yard work, kept a neat house, and was an avid Red Sox fan. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter, Janice M. LoDico and her husband William W. of Taunton; two brothers, Anthony "Teddy" Nascimento of Berkley and Charles Agrella of Acushnet; four grandchildren, Jonathan LoDico of New Bedford, Jenna LoDico Cummings and her husband Chad of St. Petersburg, FL, Jayma Brunelle and her husband Eric of Mansfield, and Jillian LoDico of St. Petersburg, FL; two great grandchildren, Prayleen and Warren Brunelle, both of Mansfield; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Joseph Nascimento, John Agrella, Laurinda Figueiredo and Mary Silva. Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Wednesday, July 27th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 26th from 5 to 8 p.m. www.silvafuneralhome.com.
