Mary Jane Gibson of Cheshire, Ore. died at a local hospital on feb. 11, 1952. She was a native of Lane County, and was born Feb. 22, 1885. Her husband, Guy Gibson, whom she married at Butte, Montana, died in 1944. She is survived by 3 children: Mrs. Henry Strom of Cheshire, Gerold Gibson of Shadron, Neb., and Harold Gibson of Sahger, Calif.; 3 brothers: James Herbert of Hillsboro, Robert Herbert of Noti, and Ellis Herbert of Eugene; 2 sisters: Alpha Sweet of Elmira, and Melvina Rice of Olympia, Wash.; also 7 grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at Poole-Larsen Chapel Thurs. Feb. 14 at 2:00 p.m.
