Mrs. N. H. Attig Died Unexpectedly Sunday, March 14
Frances Gibson Attig, 69, died at her home in West Rainier at 1:30pm Sunday, march 14th. She had been in ill health for some time, but had not seemed much worse than usual prior to her death so it came unexpectedly.
She was married to Nathaniel H. Attig at Monroe, Oregon 42 years ago. They came to Rainier 41 years ago, and had lived here since. She was born January 29, 1880 in Manitoba, Canada.
She is survived by the widower, and two sons, Albert of Portland, and Raymond of San Diego. She also leaves two grandchildren, and one brother, George Walton in manitoba.
Funeral services will be held in the Methodist church Thursday at 2:00pm, with Rev. O.L. Kendall officiating. The Rebekah lodge will have their ritualistic service. She was a past noble grand of the Rebekah lodge.
Interment will be in Green Mountain Cemetery with the J.O. Elbon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
