DIED:—On Thursday, Oct. 15, Mr. Albert B. Gifford, who had been ill for a long time with Bright's disease. Mr. Gifford was a native of Westport, where he was born 67 years ago. For the past twenty five years he had been keeper of the Wing's Neck lighthouse, and his familiar figure will be greatly missed in this village. He leaves a widow. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Methodist Episcopal church, Cataumet, Rev. E. S. Hammond officiating. Appropriate musical selections were rendered by Ezra Hamlin of Taunton.
