Maxine (Giles) Bowles, 85, of Denton, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. She was born on December 20, 1926 in Denton to Albert Lee Giles and Luzena Pocahontas "Pokey" Giles. She married the love of her life, Joe Bowles in 1961.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 6-7:30 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A funeral service will be on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Rev. Randy Ganzer officiating. Burial will be at Benbrook Cemetery.
Maxine is survived by her son, Fred Bowles and wife Lisa; grandson, Cody Bowles and wife Cookie; grandson, Jason Gerred; great grandchildren, Nive and Asher Bowles; sisters, Ozella Coffey and Jean Shearer; 8 nieces and 3 nephews; and several great nieces, great nephews, and their families. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe; her parents, Albert and Pocahontas Giles; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.
