Kathleen Mary Brennan, most recently of Williamsburg, VA, peacefully passed away on December 7, 2014, at the age of 86. She was born in New York City, to John and Ellen (Fogarty) Gleason as the eldest of three sisters. Kathleen graduated from Blessed Sacrament High School and Summa Cum Laude from Ramapo College. She married and raised two sons with James P. Brennan. Kathleen subsequently lived in VT, FL, and NJ before relocating to Williamsburg in 2003. Proceed in death by her parents and her sister Joan (Johanna)(Gleason) Meaney, Kathleen is survived by her children James and his wife Eleanor, Robert and his wife Claudia, her grandchildren Suzanne (Brennan) and her husband Kraston Scott III, Michael Brennan, Alexandra Brennan, and Gabrielle Brennan, her great grandchildren James "Jake" Scott and Rebecca Scott, her sister Eileen (Gleason) Dolphin, and her many beloved nieces and nephews. A visitation and reception will be held at Nelsen's Funeral Home on Thursday, December 11, 2014, from noon to 2pm, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 3pm at St. Bede's Catholic Church in Williamsburg. Kathleen will be interned at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
