Gouverneur- The sad intelligence was received her this morning of the death of Mrs. Nettie Gleason Bogart, the second daughter of the late Hon. George M. Gleason, at her home in Ithaca after several months of suffering from a lingering illness. She submitted to an operation some time ago but obtained only temporary relief. She was married about twenty years ago to T. O. Bogart, and to them were born two children. Mr. Bogart died about five years ago and three years later with her children she moved to Ithaca in order to give them the benefit of a liberal education in Cornell university. In the building up of her home she also built into her children strong and rugged traits of character. As troubles came in the loss of her husband and later her father, the true character of Mrs. Bogart shone out more brightly. Her home was always a cheerful place. Mrs. Bogart had a most lovable disposition and her death will cause sincere sorrow among all who knew her here and she had many friends.
Mrs. Bogart leaves one son, George Gleason Bogart, and a daughter, Miss Lotta, besides three sisters, Mrs. James F. Brodie of Nashville, Tenn; Mrs. N. J. Conklin of Rochester, and Mrs. A. T. Johnson of this village.
