Mrs. Barckley was born in Oneida County on Sept. 10,1849. She was the daughter of Keith and Pamella Gleason and was one of a family of two children, one sister of whom survives.
The deceased spent her younger life in Wayne County and for a period of thirty years she was a resident of the city of Geneva. For the past eight years she has made her home in this city with her daughter.
The death of her husband,the late Joseph Barckley, occurred in this city on May 6,1921.
Mrs. Barckley was a member of the Universalist Church of this city.
She is survived by two children; Mrs. Harry Peters of this city and Charles E barckley of Kalkaska,Mich. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Joseph Kelsey of Fairport,NY,two granddaughters,one grandson,as well as several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock ath the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Peters of 78 Greenbush St. The Rev. Percy L. Clark,pastor of the Universalist Church will officiate. The remains will be taken to Junius,Seneca County for the interment in the family lot of the Southwick Cemetery.
