Jean G. Beeler, 90, of Mercersburg, died Tuesday February 21, 2017 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born December 13, 1926, at Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late William and Miriam Gift Gluck of Markes.
Jean was a 1944 graduate of Lemasters High School. In 1946 she married the late Marvin L. Beeler and together they farmed for 64 years.
Jean was a lifelong member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Lemasters. She was active at the Lemasters Community Center for many years, from start to finish.
Surviving are three sons, Richard W., Rodney J., and Jeffrey L. Beeler (Kimberly) all of Mercersburg. Two grandchildren, Jeremy Beeler (Angelo) and Amber Starr (John), two great grandchildren, Joshua Starr and Allison Starr.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 February 24, 2017 at St. Paul's UCC of Lemasters, with Pastor Robert Mentzer officiating. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery.
Viewing two hours prior to the service Friday at the church.
