Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bridges was born Sept. 25, 1927, in Biardstown to John W. Duncan Sr. and Mary Amanda Biard Duncan. She attended school in Biardstown. She was employed at the Waffle House in Irving for over 20 years. She married Avoid Golightly May 30, 1945. He preceded her in death and she married Norman Bridges in 1976.
Surviving are four children, Jack Golightly of Venus, Don Golightly of North Richland Hills, Brenda Wilson of Yantis and Barbara Golightly of Irving; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Joyce Golightly, a sister, Lillian Ruth Burns; a brother, John W. Duncan Jr., and a great-grandson, Kyle Lysk.
