Dolores was a person whom you recognized with her "Smile" and constant giving of her unconditional love. I met Dolores back in 1969. Not only did she have open arms, but an open door to everyone. She worked hard to keep people in harmony and love. As a young teen, at the age of 14 1/2 I was wanting to work, and she gave me a job at 15, and I lied about my age. She didn't care, she knew I was wanting to work and make money. Through the years of our love and friendship, she made me feel just like family. Her son's Dennis & Danny were now my "new" brothers. I can think of all the fun we had in the home, and oh boy the times we caught hell for not getting the house cleaned or just goofing off to much. I've missed a piece of life with her, and back in 2005 I was fortunate to be re-connected to my #2 mom. Since then we chatted on the phone almost weekly. It was like the "old days" talking about everything. I mostly wanted to keep her company on the phone in the evenings. We laughed and laughed at some of our stupid things we did, but what fun we had catching up from the years that had gone by. What a tremendous mom she was. She had to keep us all in order while we horsed around in the house. Oh, and did Dennis ever get in trouble for always teasing Bambi (Miniture Italian Greyhound). Bambi would shake at the slightest noise and Dolores would think we all were teasing her, but not Danny and I it was famous Dennis. Of course I was the more perfect one, but Danny had so many stories to tell at night, that we would lay in our beds and wowie he would tell me some good stuff. Well, life has treated us so well, and of course with the shaping and nuturing of Dolores. She is now finally at rest, but this girl partied hard, loved passionately, and cared for ME! I miss you my mom, and will cherish our love always. Laura your daughter
