Mrs. Hazel Virginia Barnes, Age 83, of Panama City, passed away Friday morning, September 14, 2007, at her home. She was born in Hory County, SC, and moved to Panama City from Camilla, Georgia in 1942. Hazel was a homemaker, a member of Hiland Park Baptist Church and was formerly an active member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Funeral services for Mrs. Barnes will be held on Monday, Sept. 17, at 11:00 AM at the Southerland Family Chapel with Rev. Don Pickerell officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Honorary pallbeareres will be the Fidelis Bible Class and the Eddie Spradley Bible Class of Hiland Park Baptist Church.
