Born to Walker and Frankie Graham on Sept. 28, 1961, she was the younger of two daughters. She was a native of Florence and joined Highland Baptist Church at an early age. She lived most of her life in Birmingham where she made many loving friends and met her husband of seven years.
Together they enjoyed life by traveling with good friends and always making more along the way. Mary Jane's sweet spirit was contagious and she rarely met a stranger. Her smile will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Lee Bailey; sister, Carol Swindle and husband, Kenny; their children, Chad Swindle and wife, Kimberly, of Florence, Cory Holder and husband, Chad, and their son, Walker, of Brentwood, Tenn.; father- and mother-in-law, Starlyn B. Bailey and Velma Sue Brake Bailey; brothers-in-law, Jeffery Lynn Bailey and David Keith Bailey; sisters-in-law, Karen Draper, Karla Brauer; nieces, Karsen Bailey, Kallie Bailey, Mckensie Brauer, Brittany Smith; nephews, Cole Brauer and Buddy Bailey; great-nephew, Jackson Draper.
She was preceded in death by her parents and mother-in-law, Elowese Smith Bailey.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family. Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
