Shirley passed away peacefully Wednesday December 21, 2016.
Devoted mother of Deborah Del Grande (Baldo) of Collingswood, NJ, Mark (Mary Eileen) Del Grande of Downingtown, PA and Eric (Angela) Del Grande of Collingswood, NJ. Dear sister of Agnes Cooke. Loving grandmother of Nicholas (Kristi) Del Grande, Meghan (Jim) Rosser, Laura (Patrick) Walsh, Eric Del Grande and Elyse Del Grande. Cherished great grandmother of Gianna Del Grande, Cassidy Walsh, Owen Del Grande, Gavin Walsh and Markus Rosser. Beloved aunt of Betteann Kinzler, Sherri Chappelle and Gene Cooke.
Shirley was an avid gardener and her hobbies included pottery and collecting ceramic frogs and dolls. She loved to read and was a country music fan. She was famous for her southern style potato and macaroni salads. Shirley always hosted the family Christmas Eve dinner which everyone looked forward to and enjoyed. Shirley, a modern day Florence Nightingale, was a caregiver for many people and will be missed dearly by family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday December 27 from 9:30 – 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church in Camden. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ. Arrangements are under the directions of BLAKE-DOYLE Funeral Home, Collingswood, NJ.
