Wally, John and their daughter, Anne, moved to Pacific Grove in 1943. She began a 30-year career as automotive bookkeeper and office manager, first with Quigley Motor Company, then with Cypress Motors.
Soon after moving to the Peninsula in 1943, Wally and John joined First Presbyterian Church of Monterey. She currently holds the honor of having the membership of longest duration. She attended services faithfully, and participated in many of the church activities. Her greatest enjoyments were her church, her family, her friends and her many travels throughout the U.S. and Europe.
She is survived by her daughter, Anne (Mike) Vucina; grandchildren, Cindy (Albert) Lassiter, Julie Vucina, Mike (Lucy) Vucina, Mark (Diana) Vucina, Scott (Ilka) Vucina, and 14 great grandchildren, of whom she was very proud. She is also survived by brother, Bill (Elsie) Graham, several cousins (including Billy Graham), nieces, nephews and her good friend, Grace Richardson.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, John and her brothers, Tom and Archie Graham.
Our thanks to Ellie, Jung, the Hospice nurses and Dr. Grant for their loving care, which enabled us to care for her here at home.
