Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. William Catholic Church, St. Simons Island, Ga., with Msgr. John Kenneally officiating. Interment: 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, in Bluebonnet Memorial Park Cemetery in Colleyville, with a reception following at St. Michael Catholic Church in Bedford. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at Thursday at St. William Catholic Church, St. Simons Island, Ga. Born Dec. 4, 1938, in Moundsville, W.Va., to the late Argemiro and Carmen G. Granda, he received a BS in finance and accounting from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, W.Va. Mr. Granda was a former Board Member of Americans for Financial Security. He had resided in Glynn County since 2001 and was a member of St. William Catholic Church on St. Simons Island. Mr. Granda loved playing golf with friends, traveling to new destinations, cooking and grilling, growing tomatoes, caring for backyard wildlife, hanging out on the beach, and so much more. He met life, even in uncertain times, with a wink and a smile. He often reminded people that all days are good. Some are just better than others.
