Arthur M. Granda, 77, of Brunswick, formerly of Colleyville, departed this life Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, at his residence. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. William Catholic Church, St. Simons Island, Ga., with Msgr. John Kenneally officiating. Interment: 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, in Bluebonnet Memorial Park Cemetery in Colleyville, with a reception following at St. Michael Catholic Church in Bedford. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at Thursday at St. William Catholic Church, St. Simons Island, Ga. Born Dec. 4, 1938, in Moundsville, W.Va., to the late Argemiro and Carmen G. Granda, he received a BS in finance and accounting from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, W.Va. Mr. Granda was a former Board Member of Americans for Financial Security. He had resided in Glynn County since 2001 and was a member of St. William Catholic Church on St. Simons Island. Mr. Granda loved playing golf with friends, traveling to new destinations, cooking and grilling, growing tomatoes, caring for backyard wildlife, hanging out on the beach, and so much more. He met life, even in uncertain times, with a wink and a smile. He often reminded people that all days are good. Some are just better than others. Survivors: His children, Arthur Granda Jr. of San Antonio, Teresa Granda of Coppell; brother, Arch Granda and wife, Janet, of Houston; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry Snively and wife, Bonita, of Columbus, Ohio; two nieces; one nephew; and three grandnieces.

Interment will follow on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 2PM in Bluebonnet Memorial Park Cemetery in Colleyville, Texas, with a reception following at St. Michael Catholic Church in Bedford, TX.

Born December 4, 1938 in Moundsville, West Virginia to the late Argemiro and Carmen G. Granda, he received a BS in finance and accounting from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, West Virginia.
