DONNABELLE M. EICHNER, daughter of Henry and Linda (Monkemier) Grave, was born on May 22, 1924 in Dale Township of Lyon County near Ashton, Iowa. In 1941, Donnabelle moved with her parents to a farm place north of Dovray, Minnesota.
Donnabelle was united in marriage to Lloyd Eichner on December 7, 1943 in the Grace Lutheran parsonage in Westbrook, Minnesota. The couple farmed the home place in Rosehill Township in Cottonwood County, where their three children were born. In 1984, they moved into Westbrook. Donnabelle was baptized and confirmed, and was a member of Grace Lutheran church in Westbrook. She was also a member of the Westbrook Senior Center. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, needlework, playing cards and fishing.
On May 12, 2004, Donnabelle passed away at the Westbrook Health Care Center at the age of 79 years, 11 months, and 20 days.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol and her husband James Sandbo of Young America, MN; sons, Dwayne and wife Denise Eichner of Currie, MN, and Michael and wife, Marjorie Eichner of Windom, MN; seven grandchildren: Leah Sandbo, Ji Sandbo, Michelle and husband Shane Parker, Scott and wife Majalisa Eichner, Derek Eichner, Loni Eichner, and Travis Eichner; four great grandchildren: Olivia Marie Roberts, Lauren Lucille Steffl, Jaden Eve Roberts, and Austin Scott Parker; and brothers Earl, Virgin, and Richard Grave.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd; brothers Calvin, David, and Gerald Grave; sisters Violet Becker, Dorothy Murphy, Frances Comnick and Lavine Rieman.
