Kathleen was born August 16, 1921 in Prentiss County, MS to James Marlin Gray and Leana "Pearl" (Johns) Gray.
She was a seamstress for J.C. Penney, in Corinth, MS.
Kathleen enjoyed sewing, traveling and cooking.
She was a member of Tate Street Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. to service time Wednesday.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Henry Cemetery , Corinth, MS, with Bro. Carl Weeden officiating.
Survivors include one son, Harold Barar of Berea, KY; two brothers, Donald Gray of Corinth, MS and Joe Gray (Sarah) of Rienzi, MS; two sisters, Clara Bilek (Larry) of Corinth, MS and Cleta Burnett (George) of Iuka, MS; grandchildren, Wendy Carol Wyatt, Deena Barar Rickman and Kelly Virginia Barar; great-grandchildren, Jessica Barar, Logan Wyatt and Colton Rickman; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James "Marlin" Gray and Leana "Pearl" (Johns) Gray; her husband, Harold "Harvey" Barar; and three brothers, Herbert Gray, Duane Gray and Bill Gray.
Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Tate Baptist Church.
