Stella V. Anders, services for Mrs. Anders, 70, 31 Pecan St., Natchez, will be at 4 p.m. today from the chapel of Laird Funeral Home, the Rev. W.S. Tomlinson officiating. Burial will be at Natchez City Cemetery.
Mrs. Anders died Saturday, June 19, 1982, at Jefferson Davis Memorial Hospital.
She is the daughter of John Lee Gray and Elizabeth (Jones) Bromley. Mrs. Anders was born March 11, 1912, Caruthersville, Missouri.
She is preceded in death her parents, husband Nathan Anders, Sr. and daughter Helen Marie Anders, brothers, Charlie Edward Gray, Willie R. Gray, Handy Stigler Gray, Dale Homer Gray, and Willis Alexander Gray and sisters; Ollie Mae Gunter and Lovie Elizabeth Gunter.
She is survived by her two sons, Nathan Anders, Jr and wife Hazel of Selma, Ala., and the Rev. Patrick Anders, Sr. and wife Clara of Natchez; two daughters, Mary F. Zimmerman and husband MC, and Margaret M. Davis, and husband LA., both of Natchez; one sister Mrs. Nellie Pearl Morrison of Utica; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Billy Zimmerman, Ricky Anders, Lloyd Davis, Michael Anders, Rex Davis, Jeffrey Anders, Patrick Anders, Jr. and Greg Cupit. Honorary pallbearer will be Christopher J. Anders. Laird Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
