Clella A. Amsler

BILLINGS - Clella A. Amsler, 91, Billings, Mo., died at 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 1997, in Ozark Methodist Manor, Marionville.

A longtime resident of Billings, she was a member of Billings First Baptist Church and was active in the Sunday School Department and WMU for approximately 70 years.

She was married to Walter Amsler, and he preceded her in death, Jan. 22, 1976.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty Rose Keezer, Billings, and Elma Jeanne Jeffries, Springfield; a brother, Calvin Waldo Green, Nixa; a sister, Eulamae Haefling, Ozark; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 14, 1997, in Billings First Baptist Church with the Revs. Jim Jeffries and Tim Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under direction of Meadors Funeral Home, Billings. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wycliffe Bible Translators or the Gideon International.
