GREENE

Mrs. Neil L. Greene, wife of J. Edward Greene, died at the Macon Hospital yesterday afternoon shortly before 1 o'clock, after an illness of about two weeks. Mrs. Greene underwent an operation Wednesday.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Nellie Lower; one daughter, Maude Green, one son Clay Green, and two sisters, Mrs. Noble Sheftall and Mrs. Lawrence Heath.

The funeral will be held at the family residence, 457 Spring Street, this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The service will be conducted by Rev. J. E. Wray, pastor of Mulberry Street Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. E. C. Dargan, pastor of The First Baptist Church, and the interment will be made in Riverside Cemetery.
