Macon, GA- C. Wayne Greene passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012 in an Atlanta Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, July 13, 2012 at United Community Church with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to: United Community Church, 2411 Heath Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.

Mr. Greene was retired from Robins Air Force Base, where he was detached to the Ground Electronic Installation Agency (GEEIA). He worked with Fickling and Company since 1990. He was a charter Member of United Community Church, where he served on the board of directors and other committees. He had served as a manager and coach of several youth baseball and girl's softball teams and was also a midget league football coach. Wayne was also a member of Dixie Seniors 1 and Dixie Seniors 2 Golf Association. He was a charter member of River Forest Golf and Country Club and a member of Middle Georgia Seniors Golf Association.

Mr. Green is survived by his two children: Tim and Julie both of Atlanta, and former wife: Gina Hooks Green;

Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of arrangements.
