Services for Ernest J. Green, 70, of 3704 Overland Road, who died Wednesday at his home after an apparent heart attack, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Alden-Waggoner Chapel by Ansell Sallee of the Boise West District, Jehovah Witness. Interment will be at Cloverdale Cemetery.
Mr. Green was born Sept. 19, 1900, in Petersfield, England. He came to the United States from England when an infant. The family settled in Kansas where he grew up and then in 1917 came to the Boise Valley. He farmed at Eagle until 1947, then moved to Boise. For the past 20 years ho had worked with his son at Bernie Green's Auto Body Shop in Boise. He married Martha Snell of Eagle, Nov. 24, 1919, in Boise.
Survivors include his wife of Boise; two sons, Merle Green, Parma, and Bernie Green, Boise; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The family has suggested memorials may be made to the Children's Home Society of Idaho, 740 Warm Springs Avenue.
