Edgar F. Green, 64, died early Wednesday morning at his home, 1404 North Twenty-fourth street.
Mr. Green was born March 10, 1888, at Industry, Kan., where he spent his early life. He married Grace Miller there in 1910. They came to Idaho in 1926, and lived in the Eagle and Franklin areas until moving to Boise in 1936.
Mr. Green retired about three years ago after service as a salesman for the Cornwall Quality Tool company. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Gideon Society.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Grace Green of Boise; a son, Glenn Green of Meridian; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Leonnig of Payette; two brothers, Alfred Green of Abilene, Kan., and Ernest Green of Boise; four sisters, Mrs. Millie Schenberger, Mrs. Eva Miller, Mrs. Grace Kirkpatrick and Mrs Daisy Stewart, all of Boise, and four grandchildren. A son, Donald Wilson Green, died in September 1950. Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Friday at McBratney-Alden chapel with the Rev. Herbert E. Richards officiating. Interment will be Cloverdale.
