GREENBERG, William Howard 86, of Tampa, died Sunday, April 19, 2015. Mr. Greenberg came to Tampa two years ago from his native New York. He was a former member and trustee of Congregation Ohav Sholom in Merrick, NY. Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Alma; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Steven Haubenstock of Tampa, and Ilene and Joseph Fallas of Panama; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Geri Greenberg of Jericho, NY and Boynton Beach, FL; and eight cherished grandchildren, Michael, Erin (fiance; Kyle Blair), Stacy, Jared, and Adam Haubenstock, and Evan, Gillian, and Sammy Fallas. Bill was a devoted family man. His wife, children, and grandchildren were his life. Funeral services will be held today (Tuesday), 2 pm, at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, 2713 Bayshore Boulevard, Tampa. Interment will follow at the New Rodeph Sholom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Rodeph Sholom to benefit the "Inscribing Our Legacy" Torah project.
