Cynthia Ann Perry Griffin, age 62, of Quiet Dell, WV, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, on July 6, 1953, a daughter of the late Franklin T. Perry and Anna Gay Lake Perry.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, John Clark Griffin, who she married on July 10, 1981. She is also survived by one daughter, Jessica Griffin of Charleston, WV; two sisters, Pamela Newman and husband Tom of Doylestown, PA and Edie Perry Rossi of Wilmington, Delaware; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, who remained by her side throughout her illness, Brenda Sue Griffin; and her longtime friends, Karen Phillips, Sharon Arbogast and Martie Hayhurst.

Cynthia was a 1971 graduate of Henderson High School in West Chester, PA. She worked as a Preschool Teacher for 25 years at Mother Goose Land in Nutter Fort. She loved her animals, and believed in peace and equality for all beings.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ed Lowther presiding. Entombment will follow at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
