Madeline Griffith Bennett, age 83 of North Wilkesboro, NC formerly of Green Mountain, NC passed away April 4, 2015. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Dave and Phoebe Whitson Griffith. She was retired from Tipton Hill School where she was a Teachers Assistant. She was a Member of Lower Brummitts Creek Church of The Brethren.
Survivors include; a daughter, Sherry Souther (Steve), of North Wilkesboro, NC, a son, Todd Bennett (Donna) of Green Mountain, NC, a sister in law, Faye Griffith of Green Mountain, NC, four grandchildren; Jessica Stafford, Kristin Adams, Zack Souther, and Houston Bennett, three great grandchildren; Cameron, and Clayton Stafford, and Liam Adams.
She was preceded in death by; her husband, Clarence Bennett, three sisters; Blanche Tipton, May Griffith, June Gouge, and a brother, Frank Griffith.
