Grace Williams Griner CHARLOTTE - Grace Williams Griner, recently of Waxhaw, NC was born on September 6, 1927 in Cordele, GA. She died with family surrounding her on December 25, 2013. Preceded in death by parents Max and Mary Lou Williams, and husband of almost 50 years, Ben Griner. Mrs. Griner was from Charlotte, Mooresville, and Waxhaw. Survived by son, Doug Griner of Greenville, SC; daughter Pam Dawes and fianc Tom Goeden of Waxhaw, NC; granddaughter Sarah Gray and husband Jack of Atlanta; granddaughter Carolyn Dawes of Raleigh; beloved sister Eloise New of Irmo, SC; many beloved nieces and nephews. A celebration of Grace's life will be held at Sharon United Methodist Church, 4411 Sharon Road, Charlotte, NC, on December 28 at 2:00 PM.
