He move to DeLand from Montreal, Canada in 1993. Jack served in the US Navy and was the director of manufacturing at Frito Lay. He loved golf, traveling and cats and dogs.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Gilberte; son Jack Griner, III and companion Patricia of Jacksonville; daughters Cathy Thompson and husband Ed of Biloxi, MS and Barbara Gain of Breckenridge, CO; 2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
