James E. “Jimmy” Griner, age 77, passed away peacefully at his home on April 10, 2015. Jimmy was born in Panama City on May 31, 1937. He was a lifelong automotive mechanic and the owner of Griner's Automotive. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather who loved his family above all else. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents; brother: Haywood Griner; sister: Evelyn Pate as well as his sons Ricky and Rocky Griner. Jimmy leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Betty; daughter: Lynda (Earnie) Pyfrom; son: Mike (Tanya) Griner; seven grandchildren: Stacy, Chris, Cody, Josh, James, Rocky Jr and Alex as well as 12 Great Grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at St. Andrews Primitive Baptist Church on Monday, April 13 at 11:00 a.m. All friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate Jimmy's life.
