Mary Hanlin Griner, b. 1 April 1880 in Nocona, Texas; married Benjamin Clay Bratcher on 19 Nov. 1902. He'd been married twice before, and had children from both previous marriages. Ben died on 17 August 1918 and was buried in the Eagle Point Cemetery. Mary died on 23 Dec. 1927. The Nocona News for December (?), 1934 gives us an article titled "Our Pioneer Citizens" about the Griner family and says,

"Their oldest daughter Miss Mary succeeded in securing an education and taught in the county school. She later married Ben Bratcher and had seven children, all moved from Nocona except two sons, Roland who is sales clerk at J. A. Fooshee, and Coe who is an employee of Joe Martin. After the death of Mr. Bratcher, ‘Miss Mary' moved her family to Nocona and she held stock in the Beaver Creek oil well, which she sold."
