Agnes E. Grundman, age 78, of 1806 Harrison St., New Holstein, died Thursday afternoon, Sept. 8, in Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.

She was born in Fond du Lac March 28, 1910, the daughter of the late Ben and Barbara Heimerl Schaub. She was married to William F. Grundman on July 29, 1947, in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 1987.

She belonged to Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein.

Survivors are one son, Conner Feuerhelm of Oshkosh; one daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Jean) Hoekstra, New Holstein; seven grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Dolores Knecht and Mrs. Bernette Thresher, both of Fond du Lac. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a twin sister and one brother.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holsten, the Rev. Msgr. Peter Klauck, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Oshkosh. Friends may call at the Erbe-Evjen Funeral Home in New Holstein from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and on Monday morning from 9 until 10:30.
