Dicie was first married to O.C. Callahan in 1884 in Washington State. O.C. and D.E. Callahan appear in the 1885 Washington State and Territorial Census in the county of Pacific. Dicie was shown to be 16 years old in this census. O.C. and D.E. Callahan were set for trial (divorce?) on March 15, 1895: Aberdeen Herald Newspaper.

She married her second husband, Alvin A. Allen, on 19 Sept 1895. Dicie was shown on the marriage record to be Elizabeth E Callanah, but when she signed her name she signed it as D.E. Callahan. Both were listed as being of Chehalis County, Washington. Alvin and Dice appear with two sons and her father, William Guest, in the 1900 census of Montesano, Chehalis Co, Washington. Chehalis County is now Gray Harbor County.

Dicie's date and place of birth are taken from 1900 Census data. Her date and place of birth reflected on her Texas Death Certificate states she was born Oct 14, 1876 in Texas. The community of "Tanner" which is shown on her death certificate is the name of the former community where the Davidson Cemetery is located. What there was of a town is now gone.
