Millie (Guinn) Gibson, daughter of Bartley A. Guinn and Elizabeth Manelle McBride, was born 03 Dec 1909 in Montgomery County, Arkansas, and passed away 11 Aug 2012 in Bakersfield, Kern County, California, following a brief illness.

She married Jerry Mitchell Gibson on 17 Sep 1930 in Haskell County, Oklahoma, where their children Joyce (Wilson), Wayne, Shirley (Vanderpool), Bobby, Kenneth, and Jerry (JC) were born. The family moved to Kern County in the early 1940s where Dale was born.

Millie celebrated her 100th birthday, in 2009, with over 70 members of her family present.

She was predeceased by her parents, sisters Willie (Gibson), Julia (Spence) and brother Delmar, her husband Jerry, daughters Joyce and Shirley and sons Wayne and Kenneth, being survived by sister Eleanor (Crook), sons Bobby, JC, and Dale, many grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, 18 Aug 2012 in Bakersfield.
